  Comment: This clay like terracotta is a completely natural product. It has been dug from the earth is 100% South Australian. It is Ideal for making glazed ware and works best with stoneware glazes fired at stoneware temperature 1200°C+

Specials -

June 2010 - We are now making terracotta and stoneware tiles for cooking pizzas.  The tile is fired at 1060 degrees, so it can take a lot of heat in your oven, provided you allow it to cool down slowly after finishing.  A customer recently bought one of our tiles, and sent us the following email:

"Thanks for the pizza stone.  It worked out very well, the thickness was good.  I pre heated the oven for 15 minutes on 225 degrees and it was hot.  The pizza's turned out lovely, if you are using fresh pizza dough they only take 7 minutes to cook.  They turn out with a lovely crispy pastry around the edges of the pizza and the base is great - it is not soggy at all.  I've sent you some pictures.  I hope you sell lots of them as they work really well!"  Kylie L.
